Can anyone be a prophet?

  • Isaiah 8:20To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
    • Key Point: If someone speaks against what it is the scripture they cannot be a prophet

How God communicates with us?

  • Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
  • 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

How Does God leads his people?

  • Hosea 12:13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

 

Prophecy in God’s last day church?

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

  • Woman – represents a church in bible prophecy
  • What is the testimony of Jesus?
    • Revelation 19:10 – …“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”
    • So What is the testimony of Jesus? It is the spirit of prophecy. Then what is the spirit of prophecy? It is the testimony of Jesus.

  • Joel 2:28 – …your sons and your daughters shall prophesy
  • Acts 2:17 – …in the last days, pour out my spirit

 

Did God ever use women for his work in the bible?
