Christian Job Boards

Regularly check christian job boards as there are always new listings posted. You may be surprised with how many potential opportunities exist out there. Here is a list of Christian boards that you may find useful:

Christian Job board list:

ChristianJobs.com – this job board has a ‘work from home’ filter so be sure to check it out to see what opportunities are available. I looked up a few reviews about this website and most of them suggest that there aren’t many work from home jobs available, so based on this I’d also recommend looking at the more general job boards below.

General work from home job boards

Depending on what country you’re in there may be websites with jobs specifically for your location. In this case I’d recommend a google search for the following keywords to see what opportunities are available:

  • Remote working jobs in [your country]
  • Work from home in [your country]
  • Online ministry jobs

Earn money with Fiverr.com

Fiverr.com allows you to register as a seller and then promote any service (aka a gig) that you feel may benefit others. Below are 6 examples of christian sellers who are promoting a service. You can see by the ratings that these sellers have made a number of sales. This should give you an idea of the kind of services that do well on Fiverr.

I tested out Fiverr over a period of one week to see if I could make any sales. So I can confirm that it can work if you’re providing a good service. I got my first sale 3 days after creating my account, total value of the sale was $52 as shown in the screenshot below.

Make money Transcribing online

Rev.com gives you the chance to become a transcriptionist, you can work from home and choose hours that suit you best. If your english writing skills are up to scratch, you enjoy typing and you want to make a bit of extra money (especially for those pre-payday emergencies) Rev is perfect.

I tried Rev.com and made $26 after completing my first few transcriptions. See the screenshot below.

Paypal payment received from Rev.com

Below is a breakdown of the what the $26.48 comprised of:

$26.48 may not be enough money to make you rich (obviously) but this is an example of the potential to make money online. I recommended this method to my sister, she jumped on it immediately and after two weeks she was making $80 a week while only doing this during her free time.

Make money with a Christian Blog

These are examples of 5 inspirational Christian bloggers that make a considerable amount of money from their christian blogs:

To give you an idea of how much a blog can make, have a look at the income reports below from various blogs/websites.

Make money from your mobile phone (CitizenMe Mobile App)

The idea behind the CitizenMe mobile app is that you carry out short surveys on your phone and you are paid instantly after completing the survey. Payments are made to your PayPal account.

The app allows you make money by sharing a little bit of your data and at most surveys can take up to 1 minute 30 seconds to complete.

Surveys typically pay between £0.10 to £0.70. The most common type of survey you will get is the £0.10 survey, these are usually very short surveys which can be completed with 30 seconds, some of these surveys are only 3 questions long. Unfortunately, You wont become a millionaire using this app!

Below are a few examples of payments I received from CitizenMe when testing the app.
